the uber-mega travelplan

First of all I´d like to thank you all for the happy birthday wishes. Unfortunately I was unable to trow a 30th birthday party due to a number of reasons. One being Marco was sick with the super flu. Poor thing. Another is that I am currently working on drawings for an art exhibition, and I kind of wanted to have the opening and the birthday party at the same time. So when realizing that the drawings weren't quite on schedule I decided to postpone the birthday thing... so... in a way I´m still 29!

...and yes, we actually have a rough travel plan ready. The tickets on the boat have been bought and our stops during the way north more or less planned. The famous travel plan looks something like this. Parting from Rome mid-end of May. We are going to make just a few stops on the road north.

Rome
From where we depart.
Firenze
There we ship out our stuff, apparently that is possible in Firenze, while not in Rome. And of course the idea is also to visit Francesca, Riccardo and their brand new baby boy. That is if they are home that day.
St.Marie du la Mer (how on earth is it spelled?) in Camargue - France
There we plan to salute Saint Sara, the black saint, protector of gypsies and travelers. Her shrine is open only one weekend per year and of course the town gets flooded by catholic gypsies from all over Europe. Noise, music and all sorts of shenanigans.
Lille
We plan to spend a few days visiting Charlotte and Alessio in their new home, the country house outside of Lille. I can't wait to see what they are up to.
Belgium
Where we are meeting with Leo and Ann-Katrin. Friends of ours that might even be staying in Iceland this summer.
Copenhagen
Saying hello to all our friends in Copenhagen, Svandís&co hopefully also Biggi&co and of course our long lost friend, danish beer&co.
Oslo

Visiting aunt Sigrún and her family. Luna is especially looking forward to meet her cousin, baby Anna in person.
Moelv
Aikido seminar with Mouliko Halen. We will have to cut it a bit short due to the early departure from Bergen. So only 2 days of Mouliko.
Bergen
Departure with the boat on the 8th of june. The boat will without a doubt be full of drunken seniors speaking a weird mixture of scandinavian languages. And we plan to attend the breakfast buffet, which is quite fantastic, even for me, the generally seasick person.
Seyðisfjörður
Where the boat arrives.
Aðaldalur
Mom got a great idea to rent a summer house in north of Iceland just after we arrive. Inga and Phil should be there as well so it will indeed be a family reunion.
Reykjavík
Where we should arrive...eventually

I deliberately left out most dates since they aren't really fixed yet. We realize that we might/will have to cut something short due to lack of time.

Belli!
