Boy or a girl?

Here's an interesting question. Am I carrying a girl or a boy? Fact is that we really don't know yet. But like always, we plan on unwrapping the present way before Christmas and finding out before the baby is born...if possible. The photo is borrowed from some web page and has nothing to do with our new baby. (The image had no legal protection text, so if the owner happens to pass by and disagree with this publishing of the image, I will remove it immediately without hesitation since we had no intention of ignoring copyright law.)

Couple of pointers you should know before deciding...

1) Marco's sister is one of those persons that just knows things. Honestly she could make a good living as a fortune teller or such. She had a dream of us giving birth to a beautiful baby girl, with brownish-red hair. After hearing about her dream, I started dreaming the very same thing. It's a girl?

2) The baby feels way different than Luna did. I was REALLY sick the first 13 weeks of this pregnancy while I only had two weeks of mild nausea with Luna. Also this time the empathic link is missing. I´ll elaborate. Luna used to kick on demand - I would think about her and she would kick back. The new baby doesn't do that. It just feels different. It kicks and makes all sorts of strange movements. I even suspect it of pulling its own umbilical cord every now and then. Really funky feeling in what I now know to be the placenta area. And that's simply not very ladylike. Is it...a boy?

3) The first sonar we had at 12 weeks, the sonar technician told us she thought it was a boy. In the second sonar a week later, a different Doctor in another clinic with a completely different type of sonar machine told us it was way too early to know. The latter Dr. sounded more like an expert and I'm sort of inclined to trust her rather than the first one. Could she, at only twelve weeks, have seen...a boy?

4) The term "the girls"as in my daughters sounds really familiar to me. It could be that I am simply used to hearing it from growing up. Or could this be a clue about another baby girl?

What do you think? Is it a boy? ...or is it a girl?

Strákur strákur. Fyrst þér líður svona allt öðruvísi á þessari meðgöngu. Svo á víst að vera erfiðara að ganga með stráka, hvort sem það eru keringarbrækur eða ekki.. en þetta segir sagan!

My vote goes for a boy! Á að leggja peninga undir eða? :)
